Kids Felted Snowmen Ornament & Charcuterie Board Workshop

Saturday, December 13th, 2:30-4:30pm 

Celebrate the winter season by creating your very own charming felted snowman ornament! In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the art of needle felting, a fun and easy craft technique using wool fibers. Step-by-step, you’ll sculpt and shape your snowman, adding personalized details like scarves, hats, and buttons to make your ornament truly one-of-a-kind.

In the first part of class, kids will learn the magical art of needle felting while making their very own snowman to take home! In this beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll guide participants step-by-step through shaping colorful wool into a fuzzy snowman! Felting is a tactile, relaxing craft that lets kids explore textures, shapes, and creativity, while building fine motor skills and patience. Kids will leave with an ornament to cherish for the tree or an adorable winter decoration! 

What We’ll Cover:

• Introduction to needle felting and safe tool handling

• How to shape wool into 3D forms

• Layering colors for depth and realism 

• Tips for finishing and displaying felted creations

• All materials (wool roving, felting needles, foam pads, embellishments)

• Step-by-step guidance from a friendly instructor

• Take-home snowman made in class

During the second half of class, students will be creating an irresistible, and festive holiday charcuterie board masterpiece! This class will contain everything you need to build the board of your dreams. The best part? At the end, attendees will have a beautiful charcuterie board masterpiece to share with friends (or keep all for themselves— I don’t judge!). Eat it on the way home, or wrap it up for later!
