Meet Meg - Our Inspiring Owner and Creative Soul

Meg, the heart and soul of Under the Moon Art Studio, is a passionate artist and educator. With a major in textile design and art education from MassArt, her love for art has always been at the core of her journey. She brings over 25 years of experience to the table with both children and adults. By day, she shines as a full-time middle school art teacher, nurturing young minds to explore their creativity and embrace the world of art with wonder and joy.

When Meg is not teaching, she loves the beach, spending time with her husband & 2 kids, and reading - ALWAYS with a cup of iced coffee in hand!

Linda (Meg's mom)

Linda (Meg's mom), has been an artist her whole life - not only a talent in painting, quilting and crafting, Linda is also a master baker! In 2017 she traveled to Nashville where she participated in the Pillsbury National Bake Off Finals (thousands of people submitted recipes, hers was one of 100 chosen). She has also won several Hannaford recipe contests!

Linda is a New Jersey transplant, ending up in New Hampshire after her husband left active military duty to find a job in the private sector. She spent 38 years in counseling, first as a social worker and then as a guidance counselor in a high school (Linda just recently retired).

Linda currently lives between New Hampshire and Cape Cod, where she enjoys retirement with her husband, Rich, and their dog, Penny.

Karah

Karah is an artist based out of Boston, MA and Manchester, NH and graduated from UNH where she minored in studio art. She draws her inspiration from classic artists like Monet and Van Gogh to paint colorful portraits and landscapes. Her recent Monet-inspired Water Lily painting received an award at the Manchester Employee and Family Art Show! We are excited to have Karah share her love for painting with everyone at Under the Moon Creative Studio!
